Sushant Singh Rajput Found Dead At Age Of 34 Police Say Suicide

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his home in Mumbai, police said today, confirming his suicide. He was 34. The police are investigating his death. No suicide note has been found.

"A bright young actor gone too soon," Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted this evening." "Sushant Singh Rajput...a bright young actor gone too soon. He excelled on TV and in films. His rise in the world of entertainment inspired many and he leaves behind several memorable performances. Shocked by his passing away. My thoughts are with his family and fans. Om Shanti," PM Modi tweeted.

A shell-shocked film industry posted tributes on Twitter. "Honestly this news has left me shocked and speechless...I remember watching #SushantSinghRajput in Chhichhore and telling my friend Sajid, its producer how much I'd enjoyed the film and wish I'd been a part of it. Such a talented actor...may God give strength to his family," Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar wrote.

Actor-director Farhan Akhtar tweeted: "Absolutely stunned by Sushant's death..!! This is so so sad. Heart goes out to his family.. their grief must be beyond measure. Deepest condolences."
